What you're choosing between

5-inch K-style is the standard for most single-story homes and handles typical North Texas roof areas well. 6-inch K-style carries roughly 40% more water and is the right call for two-story homes, steep or large roof planes, and the long uninterrupted rooflines common in newer subdivisions here. We'll size it from your actual roof measurements, not a guess.

Runs are .027-gauge aluminum in your choice of standard colors — white, clay, bronze, and more — so the system matches your trim instead of announcing itself. Downspouts are placed where the water volume says they should go, then extended away from the slab, because in Collin County clay soil the discharge point matters as much as the gutter itself.

What install day looks like

The crew arrives with coil stock and the roll-forming machine. Old material (if any) comes down first. Each run is formed to length on site, hung on hidden hangers screwed into the fascia, pitched about a quarter inch per ten feet toward the downspouts, and sealed at every corner and end cap. A typical home is done in a day, and the yard is cleaner when we leave than when we arrived.

What it costs

Most single-story homes in Anna, Melissa, and Princeton land between $1,000 and $2,500 installed, driven by linear footage, gutter size, and downspout count.
